Terms of Service

By accessing or using Jabbin ("we", "our", or "us"), including our mobile app, our website at https://www.jabbin.app ("Site"), and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the App.

Jabbin is a logbook. It records what you tell it and shows you the patterns. It is not a doctor, a pharmacist, or a diagnosis, and nothing in it should be treated as a recommendation about your treatment.

Never start, stop, skip, or change the dose of any medication based on something you see in this app. Those decisions belong to you and your prescriber.

Section 8 sets this out in full. It is the most important part of these Terms — please read it.

Some medications listed in Jabbin are not approved by the FDA. Do not take one unless a doctor has prescribed it to you. Section 9 explains why they are listed.

1. Description of Service

Jabbin is a progress tracker for people on GLP-1 medications and peptides. It lets you record doses and shot dates, set a shot schedule and reminders, log weight and body measurements, note side effects, take progress photos, and rate things like energy, fullness, and food noise — then shows you those entries back as charts and trends over time.

Everything Jabbin shows you is calculated from numbers you entered, using general-purpose formulas. It does not prescribe, diagnose, treat, monitor, or manage any medical condition, and it is not a medical device.

You may use the Site and App for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You must be at least 18 years old to use Jabbin.

You agree not to:

  • Misuse or attempt to disrupt the Site or App
  • Use the App for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or circumvent the App's functionality
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
  • Use the App to give medical advice to, or manage the treatment of, anyone else

2. App Permissions and Requirements

To work properly, Jabbin needs:

  • Notifications, if you want shot and logging reminders. Reminders are scheduled on your device; you can turn them off in the app's settings or in your phone's system settings at any time.
  • Camera and photos, if you want progress photos, taken with the camera or picked from your library.
  • An account, created with Apple, Google, or an emailed sign-in code, so your logs can sync and be restored on a new device.
  • A network connection to sync. Logging itself works offline; syncing does not.

The App requires a supported version of iOS, as stated on its App Store listing. You are responsible for maintaining a compatible device and operating system version. We are not responsible if the App does not function on jailbroken or modified devices.

3. User Responsibility

You acknowledge that:

  • What Jabbin shows you is only as accurate as what you put into it. Entering the wrong dose, date, or measurement will produce the wrong chart.
  • Jabbin is a record-keeping tool. It does not guarantee any health, weight, or treatment outcome.
  • Estimated medication levels, BMI, weight projections, and trend lines are general calculations, not clinical measurements, and they know nothing about your medical history, your other medications, or your bloodwork.
  • Reminders are a convenience, not a clinical alerting system. Do not rely on the App as your only way of remembering a dose, and do not treat a missing reminder as a signal that no dose is due.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, and for the entries made under your account.
  • If you are having a medical emergency or a severe reaction, stop using the App and contact your local emergency services or your doctor straight away.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

We may offer premium features through paid subscriptions. If you purchase one, you agree to:

  • The applicable pricing and billing terms displayed at the time of purchase
  • Automatic renewal unless cancelled before the renewal date

Purchases made inside the iOS app are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system and billed to your Apple ID; you can manage or cancel them in your device's Settings, and refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy. Purchases made on the Site are processed by our payment processor and can be managed from your account. We never see or store your card details.

We reserve the right to change pricing, features, or discontinue services with reasonable notice.

5. Data and Privacy

Jabbin saves what you log to a database on your phone first, which is why logging works with no signal. When you're signed in and online, that data syncs to your account on our servers so you can restore it, move devices, or recover from a lost phone, and progress photos are backed up to our cloud storage. We don't sync any of it through iCloud, though your phone's own backup may include it.

You keep ownership of what you log. You can edit or delete individual entries at any time, and delete your entire account — and the data on our servers with it — from the app's settings. Account deletion cannot be undone, so record anything you want to keep first.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or health information. For the full detail on what we collect and how we handle it, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site or App may include links to third-party websites or services. These are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of external sites or services.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Jabbin, including logos, branding, design, software code, and written materials, is the property of Jabbin and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

This does not apply to what you log. The entries you make are yours; we only process them to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Medical Disclaimer, Disclaimers, and Limitation of Liability

Jabbin is not medical advice. It is a logbook. It records what you tell it and shows you the patterns. It is not a doctor, a pharmacist, or a diagnosis, and nothing in it — no chart, estimate, trend, projection, or reminder — is a recommendation about your treatment.

GLP-1 medications and peptides are prescription treatments. Starting one, stopping one, adjusting a dose, changing how often you inject, skipping a dose, or switching medication should only ever happen with the advice and supervision of your doctor, prescriber, or pharmacist.

Never start, stop, skip, or change the dose of any medication based on something you see in this app. Those decisions belong to you and your prescriber.

Jabbin does not create a doctor–patient relationship, is not part of your medical record, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read or saw in the App.

Use of the Site and App is otherwise at your own risk. The services are provided as is and as available, with no warranties of any kind. We disclaim all liability for:

  • Any decision you make about your treatment, dosing, or health
  • Your use of any medication that is not FDA approved
  • The accuracy or completeness of anything you log, or of any estimate, trend, or projection derived from it
  • Missed, delayed, or incorrect reminders and notifications
  • Interruptions in service, or failures to sync
  • Compatibility issues with your device or operating system version
  • Data loss, including data held only on a device you lose or reset

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Jabbin SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR SERVICES.

Our total liability to you for all claims shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.

9. Medications That Aren't FDA Approved

Some of the medications and peptides listed in Jabbin have not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use in people, such as compounds still in clinical trials or sold only for research. The App marks each of them as "Not FDA approved". That label reflects FDA approval only; the rules where you live may differ.

These medications are listed in Jabbin for research and informational purposes only. Listing one is not an endorsement, a recommendation, or a claim that it is safe, effective, or legal to obtain or use where you live.

Do not take a medication that isn't FDA approved unless a licensed doctor has prescribed it to you and is supervising your treatment. An unapproved product may have side effects that haven't been found yet, no established dose, and no guarantee of what it contains.

Any dose, half-life, or description the App shows for one of these medications comes from limited published research, not an approved label, and may be incomplete or wrong. Jabbin does not sell, supply, or help you obtain any medication.

If you log a medication that isn't FDA approved, you do so at your own risk, and Section 8 applies in full.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App and services at any time for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent or abusive behavior
  • Non-payment of subscription fees
  • Any other reason at our sole discretion

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Paid subscriptions may not be refunded except as required by law.

11. Changes to the App and Terms

We may update the App, add or remove features, or modify these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page and reflected by the effective date above. Significant changes may be communicated via email or in-app notification.

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Apple-Specific Terms

The App is available through Apple's App Store. You acknowledge that:

  • These Terms are between you and Jabbin, not Apple
  • Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance
  • Apple is not responsible for the App or its content
  • Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them
  • You must comply with Apple's App Store Terms of Service

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Ontario, Canada, except where prohibited by law. You waive any right to a jury trial or class action lawsuit.
