⚠️ Jabbin is not medical advice

Jabbin is a logbook. It records what you tell it and shows you the patterns. It is not a doctor, a pharmacist, or a diagnosis, and nothing in it should be treated as a recommendation about your treatment.

Never start, stop, skip, or change the dose of any medication based on something you see in this app. Those decisions belong to you and your prescriber.

1. The short version

  • Jabbin is a place to log your journey and watch the trends. It doesn't give medical advice.
  • Your logs are yours. We don't sell them, rent them, or trade them — not to advertisers, not to insurers, not to employers.
  • Everything you log is saved on your device first, so the app works offline. It syncs to your account so you don't lose it.
  • You can edit or delete anything you've logged, and delete your whole account, at any time.

The rest of this page is the detail behind those four points.

2. Only your doctor changes your treatment

GLP-1 medications and peptides are prescription treatments. Starting one, stopping one, adjusting a dose, changing how often you inject, skipping a dose, or switching medication should only ever happen with the advice and supervision of your doctor, prescriber, or pharmacist.

Anything Jabbin shows you — estimated medication levels, dose history, BMI, weight trends, side effect patterns — is a summary of numbers you entered, calculated with general-purpose formulas. It doesn't know your medical history, your other medications, your bloodwork, or anything your prescriber knows about you. Treat it as a conversation starter, never a conclusion.

If you're having a medical emergency or a severe reaction, stop using the app and contact your local emergency services or your doctor straight away.

3. What this app is for

Jabbin exists to do one thing well: record what happened and show you the shape of it over time. Your weight moving week to week. Which side effects cluster around the days after a shot. Whether your energy and food noise are trending the way you hoped.

That's genuinely useful — but it's useful as something you bring to a medical professional, not as something you act on alone. The best outcome we can hope for is that you turn up to an appointment with a clear picture of the last three months instead of trying to remember it.

4. What we collect

Your account

Your name and email address, and how you signed in (Apple, Google, or an emailed code). We never see or store your Apple or Google password.

What you log

Only what you choose to enter: weight, body measurements, medications and doses, shot dates and schedules, side effects, calories, periods, notes, and daily ratings like energy, fullness, and food noise. Plus the profile details you set, such as height, birth date, sex, goal weight, and your preferred units.

Progress photos

If you add them, the photos themselves, with the date and pose you saved them under.

Technical information

When the app crashes or hits an error, we receive a diagnostic report that includes your device model, operating system, app version, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address, so we can fix it.

Your approximate location

We never use GPS or ask for your phone's location. When you create an account, we use your IP address to estimate which country you're in, and we keep that country with your account in our analytics and our internal sign-up notifications, so we can see where Jabbin is used. We also keep the IP address of each signed-in session, to protect your account.

5. What we don't collect

Some things we've deliberately left out, so you don't have to wonder:

  • Your precise location. Jabbin never asks for your phone's location and never tracks where you go.
  • Your contacts, the rest of your photo library, or anything else on your phone outside the app. If you add a progress photo from your library, we only receive that photo.
  • Your activity in other apps or on the web. We don't follow you around the internet, and there are no advertising trackers in the app.
  • Your payment card details. If you subscribe, our payment processor handles the card and we never see the number.

6. How we use it

  • To show you your own logs, charts, and trends — the actual point of the app.
  • To sync your data to your account so it survives a lost phone or a new device.
  • To send the reminders and notifications you've asked for.
  • To keep your account secure and to answer you when you contact support.
  • To fix crashes, understand which features are worth improving, and see which countries Jabbin is used in.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or health information, and we don't use what you log to target advertising at you.

7. Where your data lives

Jabbin saves everything to a database on your phone first, which is why logging works with no signal. When you're signed in and online, that data syncs to your account on our servers so you can restore it, move devices, or recover from a lost phone.

Progress photos are saved on your phone too, then backed up to our cloud storage when you're signed in and online, so they can reach your other devices. If you remove a photo, its backup is deleted the next time you're online.

Data is encrypted while travelling between your phone and our servers, and access to the servers is restricted to the small number of people who need it to keep the service running.

We keep your data for as long as your account is open. What happens when you close it is covered below.

8. Deleting your account

Deleting your account from Settings takes effect immediately and can't be undone. Here's exactly what happens:

  • Your account and everything stored with it on our servers are deleted: your logs, shots, medications, measurements, progress photos and settings.
  • You're signed out on every device straight away and can't sign back in. Neither can anyone else.
  • All local data on your device is wiped.
  • Signing up again later with the same email starts a genuinely fresh account. Nothing from before comes back or reattaches to you.

The one thing we keep is the record of your subscription payments, which we're legally required to retain. It holds the App Store's own reference numbers, not your name, your email or anything you logged. Copies in our database backups are removed as those backups expire.

If you'd like written confirmation that your account is closed, email us and we'll send it.

9. Who else is involved

We use a small number of trusted companies to run the service — cloud hosting and databases, photo storage, sign-in, crash reporting, product analytics, email delivery, push notifications, and payment processing if you subscribe.

They only receive what they need to do their job, they handle it under their own privacy policies, and they aren't permitted to use it for their own purposes. Payments are handled by our payment processor — we never see or store your card details.

The only other times we'd share your information are if you ask us to, if the law genuinely requires it, or if Jabbin is ever acquired — in which case we'd tell you before it happened, and this policy would carry over to whoever takes it on.

10. A note on health privacy laws

Jabbin is a consumer app, not a healthcare provider, so it isn't covered by HIPAA and we aren't part of your medical record. We still treat what you log as sensitive health information and handle it accordingly.

Anything you choose to share yourself — a screenshot, an export, or your phone handed to someone else — is outside our control, so think about who you're sharing it with.

11. Notifications

Shot and logging reminders are scheduled on your device, and the contents aren't sent to us. You can change or turn them off in Settings, or switch them off entirely in your phone's system settings. Reminders are a convenience, not a clinical alerting system — don't rely on them as your only way of remembering a dose.

12. Your control over your data

  • Edit or delete any individual entry at any time, right where you logged it.
  • Close your account from Settings, as described above. It takes effect immediately and can't be undone.
  • Signing out doesn't delete anything — it just ends the session on this device.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct, export, or delete your information, or to object to how we process it. Email us and we'll help, whichever country you're in.

13. Security

We take sensible technical and organisational measures to protect your information, but no app or server is ever perfectly secure and we can't promise otherwise. Using a passcode or biometric lock on your phone is the single biggest thing you can do to protect what you log here.

14. Children

Jabbin is intended for adults and isn't designed for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us their information, email us and we'll delete it.

15. Changes to this policy

We'll update this page when things change, and the effective date at the top will tell you when it last happened. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we'll let you know in the app rather than quietly editing this page.

16. Contact us

Questions about your data, this policy, or anything else — we'd genuinely rather hear from you than have you wondering.
